Spinsolve nmr

This is a bench top permanent magnet system that allows for acquisition of 1D proton experiments, along with a select range of 2D experiments. It is primarily used for undergraduate teaching to give students hands on experience in NMR, and to allow for monitoring of reactions/products in real-time during laboratory sessions.

Permanent magnet systems are far cheaper to run than our super-conducting magnets, but at this point in time, they have a much lower resolution. This machine is rated at 42.5MHz. Newer versions of this unit run at 60 and 80MHz
